Dentures

Removable dentures help you smile again — crafted to fit comfortably, look natural, and let you eat and speak with confidence.

Full and partial dentures

A full denture replaces all the teeth in your upper or lower arch. A partial denture fits around the teeth you still have and clips into place to fill in the gaps. Both are made from acrylic and lab-shaped to match your gum color and the size, shape, and shade of your teeth, so the result looks natural.

Getting them to fit

Well-fitting dentures take careful impressions, a few try-in visits, and time to get used to. Dr. Youn walks you through what to expect — how to clean them, how to manage the first weeks of speaking and eating, and when something doesn’t feel right and should come back in for an adjustment.

If you want more stability

For some patients, an implant-supported denture is a good upgrade — it clips onto a few dental implants and stays put without adhesive. We can talk through whether that’s the right path for you.

Frequently Asked

Common questions

How long does it take to get dentures?
A conventional full or partial denture usually takes three to five visits over four to six weeks — impressions, a wax try-in, the final fitting, and any adjustments. Implant-retained dentures take several months because the implants need time to integrate.
Will I be able to eat normally?
Yes, with practice. Most patients adjust over a few weeks — start with soft foods, cut things into smaller pieces, and chew on both sides. Implant-retained dentures restore much more chewing force than conventional ones.
How long do dentures last?
Conventional dentures usually need to be relined every 2 to 3 years and replaced every 7 to 10 years as your jaw changes shape. A well-cared-for implant-retained denture lasts much longer.
Are implant-supported dentures worth it?
For many patients, yes — they hold firmly without adhesives, restore most of the chewing strength of natural teeth, and slow the bone loss that conventional dentures accelerate. Cost is the main trade-off; we are happy to walk through both options.
