Invisalign Cost & Payment

Real numbers, written estimates, and the financing options that actually work — most patients spread payments across the length of treatment.

What you can expect to pay

Most adult Invisalign cases at our Pelham Drive office land between about $3,000 and $7,000 depending on complexity. Short cosmetic cases — mild crowding of the front teeth, a gap to close — sit at the lower end. Full bite correction over 18+ months sits at the upper end. Your consultation produces a single firm number, not a range.

Insurance and Virginia Dental Club

Many PPO dental plans with an orthodontic benefit cover 25 to 50% of Invisalign, up to your lifetime orthodontic maximum (often $1,000 to $2,000). We’ll verify your benefit before you commit and apply it directly to your balance. Virginia Dental Club members receive a discount on the Invisalign case fee — worth asking about even if you have insurance.

Monthly payment plans

Most patients spread their case fee across the length of treatment with no interest — an interest-free in-house plan. CareCredit is also available for longer financing. We’ll set up the schedule that fits your budget at the start, so the only surprise is your finished smile.

What’s included

Your case fee covers your iTero scan, all aligner trays through the planned series, every progress visit, the bonded retainer or clear retainer at the end, and any minor refinement aligners if your bite needs a final touch. There are no surprise add-ons partway through.

Frequently Asked

Common questions

Why is there such a wide cost range?
Because Invisalign is priced by the complexity and length of treatment. A simple six-month cosmetic case (slightly crowded front teeth) costs less than full bite correction over 18 months. Your written estimate at the consult will give you a single firm number, not a range.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — most patients spread payments over the length of their treatment with no interest. We also accept CareCredit for longer financing, and Virginia Dental Club members receive a discount on the case fee.
Does insurance cover Invisalign?
Many PPO plans with orthodontic coverage will pay 25–50% of Invisalign up to a lifetime orthodontic maximum (often $1,000 to $2,000). We file the claim for you and apply the benefit directly to your balance.
Is Invisalign more expensive than braces?
Sometimes — depends on the office. At our Waynesboro practice, Invisalign and traditional braces are priced very comparably for similar cases. The real driver is how complex the case is, not the appliance.
