Am I too old for Invisalign?

No. Adults of any age can use Invisalign as long as your teeth and gums are healthy. We have treated patients from 22 to 72. Bone, not age, is the limiting factor — and modern adults often have plenty of healthy bone.

Will my coworkers be able to tell?

Most do not notice. The aligners are thin, clear plastic; from across a conference table you would not see them. Some patients have small tooth-colored attachments for certain movements — also subtle.

Do I have to wear them at work?

Yes — 20 to 22 hours a day for results. You take them out only to eat and drink anything other than water, and to brush. Most patients adjust within two or three days.

Will it affect my speech?

Slightly, for the first few days, while your tongue gets used to them. By the end of week one most patients sound normal again.
